Members grunge782
Just wondering if anybody knows a way I can save a little more (like with coupon codes, etc...) on some used gear from GC I have been looking at. I know that if you trade in some stuff like pedals you get 10 percent off, but I think that is only on new gear.

Members Ovid9
While I can't answer your question and therefore am fairly useless, why not just offer them 10% less and see if they take it? Especially if its been there for a bit.
Members Sixtonoize
Just make them an offer. The worst they can say is "no," and then you're only back to paying full price. They don't have the same rigidly-enforced pricing structure as they do on new gear, so there's definitely more room to move on used.
Members peavey_impact
You generally can't. They've never done it for me anyways, and I buy tons of used {censored} from them Wouldn't hurt to ask though!
Members PurityS.L.G.
If an item has been sitting for a while, at times they will entertain the idea of negotiating. Otherwise they generally won't budge from their price whatsoever. A good friend of mine just recently quit there after 6 years and he would give me the heads up on when they were getting ready to drop the sale price so I would be able to go in and negotiate since they want it out of the store at that point. Members grunge782
Well I am talking about items that are online available at another GC far away from me (but they will ship it to a local GC). If you are at the store, I know you can try to talk down the price but can you talk down those items online?

Never worked for me but you might get lucky

Members Bob411
You don't actually buy the items online. You call the store that is selling it. Might as well ask, then, never hurts.
