Members Casey
Might snap one up in a trade. Current owner is saying it's lacking balls/oomph/output. Put fresh tubes in it to find that tubes are not the issue. Expensive to work on? Any thoughts on the amp or diagnoses of the problem? Thanks. Members Flogger59
That was the Boogie type one, right? I haven't heard one in almost 30 years, and I know that my ears and tastes have changed since then. It had cascading gain stages, but if memory serves, it mushed out pretty quickly. Sorry, that's all I got.
Members Casey
yep, I've read as much. was just curious if there was anything i should know in particular. reviews seem to be so-so but there doesn't seem to be much on it at all out there. Members Casey
one more bump before i let it die. also, the lack of balls is supposedly only on the clean channel. trading for my frenzel plus cash on his end. seems like a killer deal.
