Members MattACaster
So it seems like one or both tubes that used for the loop in my RM100 are bad. When I engage the pedals, all the high end drops out. See like tubes would be the first thing I should look at right? I'm looking at the ValveQueen site and I don't need anything fancy, right? I'm trying to decide between the Sovteks and the JJs. Which should I go with?
Members JJBell
JJ, Tung Sol reissues are pretty decent too. Doug's tubes is another good place to buy. Both test the tubes before selling them. always a good thing.

I guess my question is will there be any difference between going with a cheap Sovtek or a JJ when it's for the FX loop?

They will affect your tone when it is on...
