It was not a large 2" element one, just a hand held into a mic stand hand held size one that was all chrome. He posted a picture set, maybe he still has it on his computer? The post obviously isn't on the OJ board anymore. He may repost in this thread? Maybe a "hey, jivejust...' thread may work. No, I have never tried this. I just pulled out a electret from a plastic mic and wrapped it in electrical tape after soldering. Kind of has a lot of handling noise, but I was going to put it into a guitar anyway.
