Members ChicagoNY27
I have an Ibanez SA2160FM & the 2 pickups closest to the bridge have literally sunken in. I finger pick a lot & my palm rests against the bridge but I don't know if this would affect it. Also, it is going out of tune more & more often. I bought the guitar about 4 years ago but only have about 2 years (if that) of play on it. Any advice, suggestions? If I go get a set-up on it, would they fix the bridges (pop them back out) or would I have to pay extra? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Members Quarter
A setup might be a good call. Let your tech know about the problems and go from there.I would imagine if the problems are minor adjustment issues, they would be covered as part of the setup. Members Li10
my pickups did the same thing on my tele, I think. Well I'm not sure it is the same thing, but the neck pickup, it was slanted, one side 'sunk' into the body. I just took the pickguard off and fiddled around with the screws that held the pickup to the body. Maybe you should try it.
Members BeefStewBoy
Going out of tune, are the strings the original strings on the guitar?
