Members Johansolo Posted April 2, 2011 Members Share Posted April 2, 2011 Before - After - Black - 1990 CE24 Alder Body w/Maple cap Toffee Apple - 1994 Standard 24 Mahagony black pups are PRS HFS(bridge) + Vintage Bass (Neck) zebras are Seymour Duncans Custom5 (Bridge) + Jazz (Neck) i still want the Black CE24 to have the covered (nickel) pickup look...but for now...IMO the pickups suit each guitar better both aesthetically and soundwise. which i find odd as when i first got hte Black CE24 it came with HFS/VBs and i hated them, and sold them immediately to get those duncans. oh and if anyone's wanting to replace PRS pickups with SD...the wiring code is PRS Black = SD Green PRS Red = SD Red + White PRS White = SD Black *Note you also have to flip one of the SD magnets in order to get the correct 2 and 4 settings on the 5 way rotary.
