Members xfactor27 Posted July 24, 2011 Members Share Posted July 24, 2011 A Happy Sun. to Ya'll,A short background on my situation:Months back I had bought a Renegade head and got the idea in my mind that a good pairing of speakers would be a 212 Avatar cab loaded with a Lynch V12 and Emi Texas Heat...... Wired in parralell ( both speakers at 8ohm ) came out to a 4ohm load and while it's load and proud.... It's missing that "scratch, Chug" tone I want for classic rock and 80's metal..... plus I hear a little muffled muddiness which is dealable, but it's there, Ya know. So, I'm asking for advice and anyone's thoughts of if I change these speakers to run in Series... - Both equal 270w and will come out to a 16ohm load. What difference should I hear???
