I'm not a fan of the design in this way, and also the fact that it's a set neck guitar w/ the truss rod adjustment being at bottom of the neck where the neck meets the body. So you would have to unscrew the neck p/u to get to the truss rod. I hate when you have to remove things to adjust the truss rod. He should offer a notched p/g as at least an option. That still doesn't mean it's any less of a pain in the ass. The "nut" however does help in getting an incredibly low action as well as prevents any snagging of the strings from using the trem on the guitar. I'm however not a low action kind of guy.
