IMO that's not really something different. A 10 or 25 watt Rectifier is. I havn't heard any 5150 III clips but the mini-Rectifier clips don't sound bad IMO considering all the clips are using pretty basic noon settings. I mean it is not as if the format of the 5150 mk III isn't available with 60 watts for years with three channels (shared eq etc) as the PEAVEY 212 MADE IN USA (instead of mexico) combo...for less than 400 used sometimes and without looking like a toy as the fender one. Just saying. All things are not comparable. The rectifier pre section is full of switches. The 5150 is its own thing. I'd personally take a 5150 over a normal recto I don't jive with normal rectos.
