Members Kuz929
Ive had my fivera clubster 45 for about 3 years and it has given me nothing but problems. Really bad rattle that could never be figured out, and now it just stopped working altogether at my last gig. I even sent it back to Rivera to "fix" it and they had it for about 4 months and when I got it back, nothing was different.. I digress... So I'm looking for something around 1k max that has a sweet, smooth clean channel but also a plexi-like British OD. Preferably a combo- 1x12 , 2x12 or even a small head with a 2x12 cab. I'm kinda exploring all my options. I think my top choice is a Fender Twin. Also really liked what I read about the Hughes and Kettner Statesman quad el84... thoughts? opinions? rants? raves? Members diddlybo
A Fender Twin for a plexi-like British overdrive? I wouldn't think of a Twin for a British overdrive.

Also, never played either but I'm sure everyone here will say Blackstar or Jet City.

Well youre right on that.... i guess the plexi OD is more of an "extra bonus" feature.
