Members SonicExplorer
Hi, Anybody own a Weber Micro Mass know how the impedence works when it comes to connecting a speaker to the Micro Mass? From what I've read, the actual impedence of the MM is 8 ohm, although it seems Weber claims it can be run at 4 or 16 as well. The question I have is, what happens if you hook up a speaker as well? How does that impact the impedence calculation the amp sees? Does it still see 8 ohms regardless, or do you have to start figuring in Ohm's law? If the latter, is adding a speaker considered a series or parallel connection? Sonic
Members yourguitarhero
On my normal MASS (not micro) the impedance of speaker connected to it is irrelevant. You just match the dial on the front with the selection on the amp.
