Members Mr_GoodBomb
I picked up an older amp and the pots are pretty scratchy and don't make the best contact. The main volume has to be moved just in the right way to make the proper connection and play at it's normal volume; otherwise, it's about half of what it would be. I got some contact cleaner, but I'm not sure how to really work it into the pot itself, as there's no real way for it to work in from the face of the pot. How do you guys suggest cleaning this thing up?
Members Bob411
On the back of the pot is a tiny hole. You need to open the amp to get to it. Do whatever you need to do, to get that hole to the top, so gravity will bring the cleaner down. After you spray, turn the knob back, and forth a bunch of times. Done.
