I have friends that have lots of amps and I would love to steal their available tones. The thing is, I am very high tech retarded. I have no clue what an impulse or IR are. I use amps, cables, cabs and guitars. My question is, would I need to use a computer or download anything, etc? If I could just plug an amp into the Kemper and profile it and then plug Kemper into my cab and play profile I would be happy. If I would be reliant on computers, IR's, impulses, etc, I would not want the Kemper. Can I get by with a Kemper, cables, and 2x12? Sorry if this is a type of question. Members Shask Posted February 26, 2012 Members Share Posted February 26, 2012 The Kemper is more of a preamp, so you would need a poweramp if you plugged it into a cab.
