Members Seattle Doug
Hi guys - working on the last feature set for the FRFR series I am working on, and I would like a little input on the I/O. It's a series of products and not all will have the same I/O since there are active and passive versions and stuff, but, essentially I am thinking: Guitar InputOutput to modeler. These two connections will allow the guitarist to plug into the front of the cab directly, even if the modeling gear is elsewhere, like on the floor.Stereo inputs from the outs of the modelerStereo inputs with level control from ext stereo playback - should this be via a pair of RCA or a stereo mini or?XLR output to send to the FOH sorta like a DI What else? Any ideas or necessities here? Thanks in advance.
Members garutter
I just want a frfr cab that looks like a traditional guitar cab. My modeler would be sitting on top so a guitar input is not needed. Just inputs and volume (if powered).
Members DeadNight Warrior
Not sure about the guitar input and output to modeler thing. Not something I'd use. On a passive cab, I'd personally prefer to have a Speakon combo jack, rather than just 1/4".
Members guitarbilly74
the guitar input/modeler out is weird. This is what i would suggest: pair of inputs for the modelermaster volumestereo mini in for a mp3 player with separate volumestereo outs for FOH. All in the back. Leave the front as clean looking as possible.
Members garutter
Hey Doug, Can you give us an estimate on when these things will be available. I'm really interested
Members Orbis_Mortis
Are these going to be powered? Also what ever I would need to hook my Eleven Rack into it would be all I need (which is XLR I believe). Billy had a good idea about the input for an mp3 player. That would be cool for playing along with tracks when practicing.
