The amp is bright not a bad thing but Tung Sols may make it a bit too bright I'm thinking. Also someone suggested a 12AT7 for the PI. So JCA owners what do you have in yours? Might have been me about the 12AT7, I did that swap recently and it really made it much more touch sensative. I went from mostly pedals with the amp to more amp gain and just a boost when needed. My valves in the combo are V1 and PI = RFT ECC81 the rest JJ Telsa ECC83's Power JJ EL84 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
