whatever hotel you stay at, ask what benefits they offer for their guests (as in entrance to clubs, vip, discounted bottle service etc). My favorite place is the venitian. Beautiful rooms, suite style even in the cheapest. seriously like 5 tvs in the {censored}ing room, split levels, its nice. They offer discounts/hook ups for Tao. Try to get a hook up for either Rehab at the hard rock, or Wet Republic at the MGM for pool partying (not just swimming...).

Stay on the strip.

You want to be able to walk out to the action with out the hassle of hailing a Cab.

As you've seen, package deals for Nice Hotel and Air are pretty cheap Sunday thru Thursday.

Don't bother to Rent a Car.

The strip traffic is slow go, and walking get's you a lot more to see and do anyways.

Move about, check out the many different Hotels/Casinos.

Each one is equally amazing in it's own way.

Generally, drinks are free when gambling.

Sit at slot machine, and drink for free, if money runs tight.

Non-english speaking dudes everywere flicking playing cards at you to grab on the sidewalks.

On Card will be picture of Hot chick, with a dollar amount like $38 or something.

Billboard trucks also go up and down strip with same advertisements.

Price is not actual as you can guess.

I highly reccomend any Cirque de Soleil shows also.

Pace your self.

It's easy to get completly smashed very quickly at any hour of the day (24 hrs a day buying of alchohol)

bump , we are now down to golden nugget, ceasars palace or mgm grand. WE'll be 4 and we are still looking for suggestion on activities to do. Is the exotic car around the vegas racetrack worth it? and what about the combat jet?

Golden nugget has refurbished their rooms. We are staying there on Saturday night (company party downtown and planning on not driving home...) I'll let you know what I think!

These three are all way different locations. Golden Nugget is Downtown/old Vegas, Caesar's is central on the strip and MGM is south end of the strip. I guess it depends what you really want to see on the strip that could dictate where you stay...

if you were thinking about the Bellagio, that's a great place. the MGM is cool and at the end of the strip. the drinks are "free" when you're gambling but I tipped for each drink I got and they kept them coming, I'd suggest tipping for the drinks.

also if Cirque du Soleil "O" (eau smile.gif) is still running at the Bellagio, do what ever you can to see it, it blew my mind.
