Members Spaced Out Ace Posted October 17, 2012 Members Share Posted October 17, 2012 that was basically my idea. use a TRS cable to the pedal (power supply) and hardwire the hot lead to the ring tab on the stereo jack in the guitar. the pedal is just a pass thru, and could also include a mute switch or even have a little boost built in there. i figured it would cost about a lifetime of batteries (give or take) to be remotely worth doing, and shelved it. It is a little overpriced, I think, but the cable is supposedly lifetime warranty, 20 feet for 20 bucks, and when they come out with the 18v adapter, would be totally worth it.
