Members BartDude
How do you apply the piping around the speaker baffle? Is it just a matter of gluing it or does it need to be stapled? Is it applied around the baffle or on the cabinet? Thanks in advance for the answers on my noob questions.

Members archiemax
Just staple it to the baffle--no need for glue.
Members WRGKMC
Of course you need to pull the baffel out which I guess you figured out. Stapeling it around the edges is easiest then hammer the stapels as flush as possible. You could also use reupholstery tacks/nails or other small brads with wide flat heads if you dont have a staple gun. If you glue it you'd be gluing it to the grill cloth which can cause the glue to bleed. Also the vinyl wont stick to many glues.
Members BartDude
Thanks for the answer guys. I plan to put some piping on an Avatar Traditional cab. I wonder ir it has enough space on the junction of the cab and baffle to accommodate the piping. Don't cabinet makers allot a small gap for it? Members WRGKMC
Its going to depend on the manufacturer. The main idea of a cabinet build is to get a tight seal. Hopefully they didnt glue the panel in so you can get it out.
