Its a bit flubbyer than the record. I think if I used an 81 in my Kramer it would be closer/tighter/sharper etc but I am really digging how thick the LP sounds for a standard tuned clip. I have no idea what mod it is but it has an added toggle switch which gives it a bit more roundness/warmth when engaged. I have it set tube screamer style: Vol 8 and gain 3 with the gain on the JCM800 maxed out.It's great for stoner rock too if I use it on a cleaner JCM800 settings and use the pedal distortion:http://soundcloud.com/tock-1/ratIt's like a halfway house between Fuzz and tube distortion.
