Members Etienne Rambert Posted May 20, 2004 Members Share Posted May 20, 2004 Tomoko & her husband Rob came over to record my new Bossa today . He brought his "Heritage" archtop. Nice guitar. I'd never seen one or heard of the brand. Apparently it is the old Gibson archtop team who left the company. Nice guitar. I recorded them both at the same time. Second take, they nailed it. Tomoko really shines on the piano (My Roland RS-9 synth). She is one of the rare classically trained musicians who is also a very good composer. Rob is a virtuoso guitarist. But he was also her piano instructor in college! Watch out music world. They have a two year old daughter! Tomoko told me today, "I hope you don't mind. I changed a few of your chords."
