Members bigmo66 Posted July 31, 2005 Members Posted July 31, 2005 They are on the Alvarez website in the Yairi "traditional" series. Here is the link: Yairi DY38 link I have owned 2 Yairis over the years and both were great guitars. Do not let the laminate back and sides bother you because Yairi knows how to build guitars. I wish I had them both back. I'd take this over the 110 for sure, the DM probably and I never played the BR160. Not too many folks have negative comments about Yairi guitars. They used to enjoy a huge big name following before the likes of Taylor and other brands exploded.
Members PapaTom1 Posted July 31, 2005 Members Posted July 31, 2005 A friend of mine has a Yairi DY38. Sounds great, plays like butter. Every time I go to his house I find an excuse to play it.
