Members jmfields
Hi, I recently purchased a Tacoma DR38, and I am currently looking for advice on pickups. I would like something that I can install without cutting any holes in the guitar. I am not really interested in bells and whistles. I'd like something that provides a transparent representation of the guitar's acoustic tone and has a high feedback threshold. Thanks in advance for your replies. Members GreatestGains
LR Baggs M1 Active sounds awesome and reasonably priced. It's only a matter of time until someone pipes in to recommend Sunrise pickups. They sound pretty amazing, but are a little pricier than the Baggs stuff. You also need to check out this site. Lots of pickup samples to help with your decision. http://www.dougyoungguitar.com/pickuptest.htm
Members EvilTwin
Well, a soundhole pickup is going to be the way to go if you want the absolute minimal amount of work done on your instrument (I've heard MagMic's that sounded great, but I've also heard them sound not so great). If you wouldn't be opposed to having a jack put in, you could go with a K&K Pure Western or something.
