Members GibsonVMan
I have a SD Invader pickup and part of the bobbin tape is peeling in a corner(winding exposed slightly). Is this a simple fix?
Members Alan Roberts
You can get replacement tape from StewMac, or you could put a tiny drop of glue on the tape and stick it back to itself if there enough material left - just don't get any into the winding of the PuP. If you think that would happen, just get new tape.
Members tedmich
Superglue works fine and shouldn't hurt any type insulation on the coils. 1 drop of glue and masking tape to hold end down for a few minutes, then remove masking tape and you're set. Members Matter-Eater Lad
You might have to contact NASA on that one. It's pretty complicated.

I had an idea on how to fix it but would rather ask to see if there is a way to avoid damaging the pickup Please contribute to threads that you can add something helpful to. Everyone else...thanks for the input.
