Members WRGKMC Posted September 5, 2012 Members Share Posted September 5, 2012 The problem with electronics is part fail internally and there may be no outward apperarence of their failure. The only way to find the bad part is by injecting and audio signal thentracing the circuit stage by stage untill you find the sound inputting one component, and not coming backout the other side. All I can suggest for an amature is resolder any solder joints that look suspicious and you may get luckey. Thats a double sided PC board so be careful. You could make the problem worse because solder contacts are on both sides of the board for some contacts and only one side for other parts.
