Members Glenn F
Any opinions? I tried a few out today, and they sounded quite nice. I'd never heard of them before, so any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks! Glenn
Members LaurentB
Well, but they've been around for a long time already. In 1980, when I wanted to get a good classical guitar my guitar teacher recommended a Hanika or a Hopf (both German brands) to me. I got a Hopf, because I got a 500 guilders discount on a 1300 guilders Hopf Cordoba because of a minor dent in the top, which I've still got today: So I do know Hanika at least once was a decent brand but I never played one... Members Glenn F
Thanks for your reply. The little bits that I am finding out about them bodes well for my next G.A.S. attack. The ones I played yesterday were probably the nicest classicals I've ever played, and they weren't the master level instruments, either. If anyone is in the market for a nice classical, I'd recommend Hanika's models. Cheers, Glenn
Members LaurentB
So what is their price range nowadays? Hopf has shifted from middle class/high-end to absolutely high-end, with prices ranging from 1000 to 10.000 euros!
