Anyways, I decided to go for this guitar, rather than waiting another 8 months to get a Larrivee, Taylor or Martin 12 string. Yesterday, I played a Taylor 355CE and a Martin D16 GT, or something like that. While there were obvious differences in tonal character, the Seagull was the only one I played for about an hour and a half, and I didn't find the neck on the Taylor that easy to play, either. It must've needed a set-up, because the S12 held its own quite well. It even held its tuning up the neck better than the Taylor.
