I was just perusing eBay for a keep-at-work bang around. Put some Yammies on the watch list. Then I searched for "Washburn acoustic" and got 329 hits. Narrowed it to "Washburn acoustic guitar" - that brought it up to 388. Yikes - wrong direction. Then I noticed something in the listings, so I changed it to "Washburn acoustic guitar -montana" and it went down to 201 hits.

 

Looks like a pile of people are unloading these hideous guitars.

Still if it gets kids into playing music then it can't be all bad.

I don't get it. What's the connection between Washburn and Montana? I thought Montana was one of Kaman's brands.

Well, you know how it goes...

 

Daughter: Mommy, mommy, I want a guitar just like Hannah Montana.

Mom: Will you learn how to play it?

Daughter: Yes, I wanna be just like Hannah Montana

Mom: Sure, let's go get you one right now.

 

Two weeks later...

 

Mom: Why don't I ever see you play your guitar anymore?

Daughter: It's too hard. I can't play a song on it or anything. It doesn't sound anything like Hannah Montana when I play with it.

Mom: Okay, I guess we'll list it on eBay.
