Now that is funny :p:D:rolleyes: I was waiting for you to discover this post.. In all honesty, the BG-160 doesn't sound "better" then the Tak, but it does hold it's own. Given the two different price points, that's saying a lot. Jeff's Tak is now 5 years old. Let's see how the BG-160 stands-up to a couple years of gigging. Members Gary in NJ Posted March 3, 2008 Author Members Share Posted March 3, 2008 Just an update. The Gotoh tuners did NOT work out. They were too short (0.901" shank). The BG-160 requires something closer to a 1.07" shank. I ordered a set of Grover Sta-Tites 18:1 in gold from StuMac. While I was at it I ordered a strap button to install in the heal of the neck.
