Members Simon76
I was going to order a Silver Creek T-170 this next week.I think it's a MF private label brand. The T-170 is their solid spruce, solid rose b/s, 1.75" nut, 24.9" scale auditorium model for $300. MF has been showing them as a backordered till July.Today I see they have dropped the listing altogether.I guess they don't want to take any more backorders on them. Music 123 still shows them but they have them jacked up to $400. Any ideas on what's going on with the Siler Creek brand?MF has been blowing them out cheap for quit a while now.Blow out prices, backorders, listing pulled kind of tuff to figure out their plan. If someone has a used one they are ready to sell, let me know.
Members Brokepick
I don't know if you can take advantage of it, but I just got a secret sale flyer in my latest order from MF. They have got some drop-dead low prices on the Silvercreek D-160 and D170 dreds.
Members Hudman
I played a Silver Creek T-170 last week. I came away unimpressed. Poor build quality, cheap tuners and a very boxy / compressed tone. I would buy a Parkwood OM if you want an inexpensive solid wood OM.

Members tkris
you might check these out -- iirc they're the same guitar or awfully close http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11233853&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=?=en-US
Members Sangemon
If you are going to be spending $400 you should consider a Seagull. The are not all solid, but they sound really good.

There are so many guitars in that price range that will blow any Silver Creek away. They seemed very sloppy. My Yammie Lammie $100 guitar looks to have been built better.
