He finger picks the first two strings then slaps the chord. Mine just sounds like chucking. He also seems to be tapping the guitar body with his pinkie at the same time. Members rickoshea Posted February 4, 2009 Members Share Posted February 4, 2009 its all about timing - your strumming hand descends and basically slaps the strings to make them reverberate off the top frets at the same time as muting them ... this gives that sort of "click" that you hear.
