Recommend me a semi-acoustic guitar for live and studio, details & budget inside

Hi,

I'm looking to buy an acoustic, steel string, with either piezo or normal pickup.

I would be using it for live, and also in the studio. It needs to be an allrounder, and be solid/rugged enough for touring.

 

Budget is around 500$-700$. No need for special woods and fancy stuff, just a solid performer, with good value for the money. Who is making good stuff in this price range at the moment?

Yamaha L6 series. way more guitar than the price tag would suggest.

Semi-acoustic? Like a Taylor T5? I think Crafter makes one in that price range.
