Members Mike_E_McGee
I don't think it came out very good, but you tell me.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ_mlSIVliEIt's a slide tune in open D. I play it, and then try to break down what I'm doing.
Members Neal
Well, for one, that was a pretty good rendition of that song! Also the tutorial is just fine for those with a rudimentary knowledge of slide. There's so much involved in bottleneck, that if someone has no idea of damping behind, then that's a whole 'nother vid. Though I wouldn't suggest capo. You got enough that someone in D tuning can take it and run. Good work, and good on ya. Nice chops! You got pretty good over the last few. Members Mike_E_McGee
Thanks Neil. Like I said, I'm no teacher! I'm just hoping that if someone plays a little slide, they could watch that and add it to their repitoire. I'm alone this holiday, so I think I'll pull the mics and RA-400 out and try a proper recording (one that doesn't require "scream singing" to be heard).
