No experience with that particular model but in general I think Washburns are good bang for the buck guitars. I picked up a used D10S a few years ago for a young nephew and thought it was a very nice guitar. According to the MF specs it is solid Sitka over laminated rosewood. Playability is a function of how well it is set up, however it does have 1-11/16 nut (normal for a dread) which would be too narrow for me. Bassy? - Dreads are inherently biased towards the bass but since the back and sides are lam they won't contribute much color.Do you need the cut or electronics?
