Members chimi
Hey you guys talking about your agiles with p90's what kind of music do you play? I've been thinking about getting the doublecut with p90's (in that gorgeous blue color) but hear mixed reviews as far as can the p90's handle hard rock. I play a lot of dropped d stuff like tool, soundgarden, etc. and love to chugg away on it and i've heard p90's don't do that too well. What kind of tones can you compare them too? Members peaveyman417
i want something with two humbuckers, but i can handle one with a single coil i just like humbuckers the best, i play metal, rock, punk, and classics like clapton, and mess like that so it need a good clean tone, and good when distorted to . Members godofmetalguita
the MIM strat was my first guitar, and out of the 4 i now own, its probably the best playing one (though i have a new RG on the way) and with the hotrails in the bridge, it can handle insane metal, and awesome cleans with the flick of a switch. The stock pickups are great for cleans. They do blues well too. Most versatile guitar I have, but it is deffinately an upgrade guitar. Stock it is ok, but it really needs the pickup change for anything heavier/more distorted.
