I'd dip just a little on the lower "cutaway", and then round the lower "horn" a slight bit, but otherwise, that's a very neat design. //S
Members jjpistols
I like that a lot, but is it gonna have a strat jack on the face? I think it's much better looking without it. Or you could make the scratchplate cover the rout and put a flat mount jack. I just think it's cleaner looking. Maybe it's just me ... it's your guitar, after all
Members The Craqster
I dunno, man. I mean, it's your guitar and all, but I think the body's too much like a chopped up strat. If I were you, I'd start from scratch so you can balance it out better...
Members hardtdc
On a second look, I would probably want to change the shape of the headstock so it carries more originality. Then it would look completely custom.
Members seven7
thanks for the feedback! i appreciate the opinions and ideas. the headstock wouldn't actually look like that. it will be the carvin headstock, which i would probably angle to match the body angles more. as is, it's angled in the opposite direction. i think i'll be okay on the balance. ya, as is it'll have the strat hardware for the jack since that's what is already on the body.
