Also called the Empress Tree, the lightweight wood is much sought after in the Orient for cabinet-making. Members Kevman Posted May 1, 2005 Members Share Posted May 1, 2005 If my kid hadn't just stumbled onto a grat deal on a H/S/S protone squire with a floyd I'd probably have gotten one of those for him.It's very lightweight.The pups are not too good. I would have replaced them right away.The neck is a little chunky for a "super strat" type axe. The flyod is solid though I have flogged Vai style (in my dreams) on the thing and it held tune fine.
