Members ned911
Difference will mainly be eletronics with wood quality/type being secondary. The bolt on neck is probably the lowest model - I'm not familiar with the Firebirds but all the other models work this way.
Members Teddy
i saw a Dillion firebird on ebay with set neck and minihumbuckers, looked just like a gibson except the wood was alder http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7318527882&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=
Members Edward
i've not seen a MIJ Tokai Firebird - according to www.tokai-guitars.co.uk there's only the MIK available here. Alder with maple neck, but hell..... the big thing with that guitar for me is the look of the thing really rather than sounding exactly like the gibby (as long as it sounds good). I'm biding my time til i have the money for one - seen some good deals on ebay....
