Members ECFan
Pete Anderson is a fantastic guitarist. You only need to listen to "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere" to figure that out. Unfortunately some folks won't give guitarists like Pete the time of day because he plays "country." And we all know country just isn't as cool as shred! Members mbratch
Most of today's county music is really just good old-fashioned rock-n-roll with a southern accent and some line about a "pickup truck" in there somewhere.
Members Lump
which cd is nervous breakdown on? I really like his playing and his songwritting is top notch. Oh, and his wife is THE cutest thing ever.
Members theManfromAlabam
Brad Paisley kicks ass...I heard clips of him playing rock and I was blown away...he can play anything. For us Tele people we can listen to his country licks all day...even those of us who are not crazy about country music.

Members ExtraGum
Paisley is the kind of player that anyone will hear (live) and say "day-uhmn, that boy can PLAY!" regardless of what kind of music you like. His records are kind of over-produced and schmaltzy though--it's kind of too bad, but that's the modern country industry for you.
