Pete Anderson is a fantastic guitarist. You only need to listen to "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere" to figure that out.

 

Unfortunately some folks won't give guitarists like Pete the time of day because he plays "country."

 

And we all know country just isn't as cool as shred! :rolleyes:

bout time i started learning nervous breakdown.

 

im starting off on spaghetti western first. that sounds more fun.

 

see how long this takes. start this joint after finals. got all summer to work on my brad paisley skills.

Paisley is the kind of player that anyone will hear (live) and say "day-uhmn, that boy can PLAY!" regardless of what kind of music you like.

 

His records are kind of over-produced and schmaltzy though--it's kind of too bad, but that's the modern country industry for you.

I ain't no country fan (Though I do like Dwight Yoakam/Pete Anderson alot) but I saw a Paisley vid the other day and day-umn!, I would hafta agree.
