Members axe2 2001
not without some modding. The scale has to still end up at a 25 1/2 scale. You'd probably have to rout it back further into the neck because the extra length will put the nut further out than 25 1/2. Then if it's routed further back your upper frets are hard to get to anyhow and your neck pickup might be in the way too. . Not worth the trouble to me. Members DonP
I have a 24 fret Fusion (24 3/4" scale) neck on a 25 1/2" 22 fret Kelly body. I was able to intonate it. The Fusion neck is from an old Professional series, MOP sharkfins, bound ebony fretboard, and MOP inlay "Jackson". Do you want to give up the 25 1/2" scale length?
