Members IdaCrue
I just sent a note to Rondo asking about the Ebony Neck with Rosewood Fretboard. Also asked if black was the only planned color option. When the reply comes in I will post it.....If it is an Ebony fretboard like I suspect, that will be one hard guitar to resist, especially if it becomes available in some other color. Members TheMadMonk
Another thing I wonder about is the scale lengthand number of frets; I haven't seen many 24 fret guitars with a 24.7" scale length.
Members NoirAbattoir
Rondo loses me at the $159 dollar price point.

Are they based off any existing guitar model? It might be worth the $320 (or the drive over to Rondo ) just to try it!
Members _pete_
I bought a PS-900 from Rondo fro 249.95 and I don't see any difference (other than color) between it and this one. Why the extra $100?

Members XeroStar33
I'd say it was a typo... I've never, ever seen an ebony neck on a guitar. Also, I'd imagine it'd be expensive just because of the fact that you don't see it as often as you would maple or mahogany.

Members IdaCrue
Just got a note from Kurt at Rondo concerning the PS-1000. I guess it is an Ebony fretboard and black is the only color for now. Here is his reply: "Ha!Yes I can see why, it's an ebony board.First an currently only color available. Kurt" Currently only color........Hmmmmmmm maybe some others in the future??????????
Members TheMadMonk
Heh, they "fixed" it on the web site. Now it says: "24 jumbo fret Ebony neck with adjustable truss rod." Still wrong, Kurt. It is an Ebony FRETBOARD !!!
