First time I heard Friend of the Devil was by a campfire on the shore of Bear Lake in Maine. Despite the fact that I'm not a huge GD fan I still love that song today, even after 20 years!

There is always "Me and Bobby McGee," which ids the f*ckin' Kumbaya of the late 20th Century. Doesn't seem like I can go anyway without someone dragging that dead horse across their guitar strings.
