Members mhenson42
Anyone know of any? I'm going there this weekend on the hunt for a Vintage Black Eclipse Standard.
Members jjpistols
I don't think there are any since MARS closed. Did you check their website?
Members mhenson42
The only Austin dealer that I have found on the web that carries ESP so far is Music Makers. The also carry Framus amps and I have been wanting to check out a Cobra. I also plan to check out Guitar Resurrection - any other good stores I should go to? Members jjpistols
Guitar Rez is a cool shop. Right next door to MM is a pawn shop that usually has a couple interesting guitars out of dozens, some decent amps, too. There's a couple by GuitRez too, but not usually a "catch" in those. There are 4 or 5 guitar shops by MM a block or two south on S Lamar. Heart of Texas - kinda generic old school Fender/Gibson shop - new stock - supposedly a fave of SRV and EJ, but I've seen EJ at the GC quite a bit Austin Vintage - cool HIGH PRICED stock, not a fan of the owner South Austin Music - cool shop, cool guys, some neat guitars - priced to haggle Tommy's Drums - if you got your drummer with, this is THE shop Both GC's have a decent to good selection of used gear, typical GC new stock. Strait and Brook Mays have a pretty boring selection of new stuff.
