Members FWAxeIbanez
I don't know much about Push Pull pots, but are both settings active at the same time? for instance, say I put a push/pull on a tone knob that splits a coil, when I pull that knob what happens to the tone knob setting? say just for hypothetical reasons you had a knob that was a bass boost, and then when you pulled it, you wanted it to be a treble boost, would pulling it bypass the original bass boost setting? I don't know why you would do this to a guitar (if it has a tone knob) but I'm just curious as to what a push pull pot can do... did I even make sense at all? Members Sigel_TTD
To answer your question about the tone knob... Having a push/pull pot does not elimate your tone knob. If the knob is pulled up your tone control is still active, the same goes for when its pushed in. Either up or down it still functions as if it was a standard tone knob. Members shred and roll
Yeah, the push/pull function just works for the DPDT switch.
Members FWAxeIbanez
well yeah, but would the tone knob stay where its at when it was pulled? or would it default to some other setting like full on or full off?
Members Sigel_TTD
It will stay where it is, if its on 5 when its down, its gonna be on 5 when you pull it.
