Members Will Chen
Hello everybody. Does anyone one have the matrix of featue differences (or a link to it) between the SONAR 4 Home Studio XL and SONAR 4 (not producer edition)? After messing around with Cubase LE for a while, I've decided that I prefer Cakewalk stuff, mainly due to the fact that I'm more comfortable with the companies products due to using them forever. I would like to upgrade from Pro Audio 9 and my budget will only allow upgrade to the versions mentioned above (unsure of SONAR 5 upgrade pricing or if there will be a SONAR Home Studio 5). Actually, not planning to upgrade immediately but want to get and idea of what will fill my needs.
Members D Charles
I just checked cakewalk.com and there's no mention of Sonor 4 in the pro products. Guess you'll have to go with 5 to upgrade.

Yeah, I went by the website but it appears SONAR is at 5 but Home Studio is at 4, but maybe I misread. What I'm more concerned with is the specific limitations in Home Studio compared to the SONAR non-producer edition. In other words, for the extra money what do I get?
