Members iAnders
I just found out that you can assign some of the buttons on my Logitech mouse to key commands, so I can control stuff i Cubase with it. Unfortunately you can't assign the +/-, play and forward/rewind key, but you have 6 assignable keys alltogether. The two blue buttons on the side, left and right and press down on the scroll wheel and the media button. That's enough for play, stop, record, forward, rewind or whatever you'd like. Range seems pretty good too. It works fine from the next room with the door closed. I'm on a laptop now, and I've really missed the numpad on a normal keyboard so this is great for me... ...anyway, just a little tip Hopefully the rest of the keys will be assignable in a future software upgrade. Members where02190
Umm...maybe this is a dumb response, but can't you control ALL the DAW functions from a mouse, thus the wireless mouse IS a wireless remote so to speak? Most wireless mouse and keyboards only have a 6-10ft range though...
