Members Karma1 Posted October 9, 2005 Members Share Posted October 9, 2005 I'm considering putting a set in my dual humbucker Fender Tele, with mahogany body.Just wondering if anyone here has used them and has any reports on them. I put a set of Lace Sensors in my Strat (silver, gold, blue) and am very happy with them. All my guitars have aftermarket pickups including Lace, DiMarzio, and many Seymour Duncans, but I was thinking about something different for this Tele. The only thing I've heard about the Hemi's is that they are supposed to have good clarity and note articulation on clean settings, which is something I'm looking for. But I'm also wondering how they sound cranked with distortion for leads? They're kind of pricey, so I'd like to be more informed before dropping the bucks on them. I'd appreciate any info.
