Those guys build a REALLY nice amp. It's all point to point handwired, and it really sounds great with the KT66 tubes and tube rectifier. Pure old school - no master volume, no separate gain control, just pure JTM Marshall tone. So, I wanted a traditional Marshall look. I built the headcab to be the same dimensions as the old JTM45 cabs. I like just a little bit cleaner look, so I left the 'string' off the top and bottom of the cab: Next, I needed a traditional looking Marshall-style cab, but in a 2x12 format. I built this one like my other cabs, but used the old Marshall large checkerboard grillcloth. I also 'floated' the logo on the grillcloth instead of building a tolex-covered valance for the nameplate (like Bogner, some Marshalls, etc). The result is that this rig SMOKES! I have to use a THD Hotplate, because even tho the amp is 30 to 35 watts, it's way loud. With my Fulltone Fulldrive II, it's perfect for our rock cover gig: Looks really sweet -Attila
