Members blas
I well may be barking up the wrong tree (that this item even exist) BUT... I need to try and find a converter that handles 96k via lightpipe (think it's termed 2 mode, splitting the channels) and has 6 analogue outputs.I only need this device to feed the mix into the surround playback controller, which takes RCA connecters.I have a sneaky feeling that I'm going to have to purchase a regular 8 channel converter, but I thought I'd ask. Members UstadKhanAli
Hmmm, don't know about that. I'm using a Rosetta 800, which has 8 inputs and outputs.
Members MASSIVE Master
Are you even feeding it a surround stream?
Members blas
Yes John, we are. In fact, if I didn't desire to be able to cut at 96k, I wouldn't have an issue. My current set up delivers fine 5.1, but only up to 48k. I wanna go higher!! (now that sounds like something right out of the 60's). Again, probably in the end we'll have to invest in a full blown 8 channel unit. Since our DAW has the RME Hammerfall card, their one unit looks to be the bottom line answer. Jus' ain't too cheap, but I am.
