Members hare.29
I'm in the midst of adding a guitarfetish preamp to my bass and am searching for some odd pots so I don't have to drill anymore holes in the thing. I think I've found what I'm looking for in CTS's catalog, and I was wondering where people go to get CTS pots that aren't standard guitar issue. It doesn't look like I can order directly from CTS, but I could be wrong. Oh, I'm looking for a dual-concentric 100k tone pot. Thanks.

Members hare.29
Stewmac and other guitar-specific places I've looked only have 250 or 500k dual concentrics. Mouser has a good selection of alpha pots, but they don't seem to make the dual concentrics. I'm still working my way trying to understand digikey's classification scheme. Members hare.29
From the following bit of the CTS catalog, it looks like I can get 'concentric tandem units' in 100k, center detent, but I can't quite parse the ordering info, much less find that part at digikey. thanks.http://www.ctscorp.com/components/Datasheets/270.pdf
Members k4df4l
I would imagine you have already emailed CTS about where to get the specific item...course, perhaps not.
Members Blackbelt1
Digi-key or Newark Electronics. Between the 2 you should be able to order any sort of pot that's available to the consumer (electronic "pots" that is). ~Blackbelt
Members misterhinkydink
CTS has a little app on their site that lets you search distributors stock by part number but I doubt you will find a exact match. You could also try reps but they probably won't talk to you about less than 100 or so parts and if they do they'll be very expensive. As others have said you can get it in Alpha but without the detent. IMO, Alpha is comparable to CTS. Mouser has linear taper in stock; they list log taper as obsolete.http://www.ctscorp.com/stockcheck/stockcheck.asphttp://www.mouser.com/catalog/specsheets/143109.pdf
