Members constrict
I'm ordering some dimarzio's, 2 humbuckers and a single for a guitar. I notice you can select Standard or Reverse polarity. Can I just order standard for both or do I need to order Standard for the bridge and Reverse for the neck? Members TheDarxide
Reverse polarity singles go in the middle, so that you get hum cancelling when using middle + bridge or middle + neck.

Members Tundra_Man
Originally posted by constrict okay, so the polarity of the humbuckers doesn't matter? It does if you're putting the pickups into a PRS, or a guitar with that sort of pickup switching scheme. In those cases you want a humbucker with reverse polarity so the "in-between" sounds are correct. Any other guitar, no it doesn't matter.
